The Story
Undertale features a branching storyline, which is affected by the player's choices throughout the game. The player can choose to either fight or befriend the monsters they encounter. These choices will affect the ending of the game.
If the player fights and kills all of the monsters, the game will end with a Genocide Route. In this ending, the player is confronted by Sans, who judges them for their actions.
If the player befriends all of the monsters, the game will end with a Pacifist Route. In this ending, the player breaks the barrier that separates the Underground from the surface, and the monsters are free to leave.
